Foundation Wind Energy-I Limited (FWEL-I) is a 1210 Acre Wind Power project located at Khuttikun in Taluka Mirpur Sakro of District Thatta (Sindh Province), Pakistan. Total installed capacity is 50 Mega Watt (MW) consisting of twenty 2.5 MW Nordex (Model N-100, Gama version) Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs). FWEL-I has a strong ownership profile with Fauji Group, through Fauji Foundation, Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited, and CapAsia being the major sponsors of the Company. The project was established under the Policy for Development of Renewable Energy for Power Generation 2006. This project has been set up on Build, Own and Operate (BOO) basis with concession period of 20 years from commercial operations date (COD). FWEL-I achieved COD on 11 April 2015 and opted cost-plus tariff regime of NEPRA.

Foundation Wind Energy-II Limited (FWEL-II) is 1656 Acre Wind Power project located at Khuttikun in the Taluka Mirpur Sakro of District Thatta (Sindh Province), Pakistan. Total installed capacity is 50 MW consisting of twenty 2.5 MW Nordex (Model N-100, Gama version) WTGs. FWEL–II also has a strong ownership profile with Fauji Group, through Fauji Foundation, Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited, holding major stake in the company. CapAsia and Tapal Group are the other major sponsors of the Company. The project was also established under the Policy for Development of Renewable Energy for Power Generation 2006. This project has been set up on Build, Own and Operate (BOO) basis with concession period of 20 years from commercial operations date (COD). FWEL-II achieved COD on 14 December 2014 and opted cost-plus tariff regime of NEPRA.
