The Overall project performance rating is based on separate assessment of the four core evaluation criteria (relevance, effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability) which are then aggregated to produce the overall rating. It is based on the simple average of the scores of the four core criteria The project performance rating criteria is measured on a four-point scale:-
1) Highly Successful 2) Successful 3) Partly Successful 4) Unsuccessful
The projects are responsive to the requirements of the country and strategy of the IsDB and are assessed to be highly relevant. Besides, the projects are assessed as effective in achieving targeted objective of renewable energy generation and as efficient due to cost savings and minor delays. In terms of sustainability the projects are assessed as likely considering purchase agreement from the GoP and improving circular debt issue in the country, which is the main risk to the project income. Overall, the project is rated “Successful” as explained below in Table.
